2003 Yates:
Ponscarme became, in 1862, the official medallic portraitist of Napoleon III, who, on a beautifully detailed cast medal, is depicted on horseback being greeted by Baron Hausmann at the 1866 inauguration of the Boulevard de Strasbourg in Paris.
